The All-mode Multi-bander TS-2000
series firmware has been updated as follows..
Kenwood is offering
the firmware updating program to the TS-2000 series
owners.

7MHz band TX range is expanded to
"7000kHz-7200kHz" for the TS-2000 E/E2, TS-B2000 E/E2, and TS-2000X
E (European models).

FM sub-audible tone functions
(TONE/CTCSS/DCS) can be enabled in Satellite
mode.(*1)

This firmware update revises the above items
only.

You can find the serial number imprinted on the

Although the
sub-audible tone functions On/Off status is stored in each
Satellite memory channel, the tone frequency/code cannot be
stored due to the limited memory capacity. The tone
frequency/code configuration from the normal VFO (VFO-A or
VFO-B) is used instead.

frequency/code configuration can be stored in the HF, 50 MHz,
144 MHz, 430 MHz and 1.2 GHz band VFOs
separately)

Encoding and decoding is
performed according to the data from the uplink
frequency.

function cannot be operated in Satellite
mode.
